We had breakfast at 7:30 in the morning and left for our destination around 8:30.

Because of the terrible conditions of the road and the dust, we had to wear masks and surgical hair nets!

We had a long 6 hour drive ahead of us, but we were able to see a lot of the Madagascar countryside.

After six hours, we finally made it! We had a wonderful lunch with lots of instructions of what’s to come for the first day of clinic.

Unfortunately, our day one of clinic got canceled because of the government so we will only be doing four days instead of five. However, that will give us a little more time to organize the medications for our four clinics. The good news is the clinic that was canceled will be completed by the Malagasy team at the end of September!
